Stacey received a bachelor’s degree from Niagara University, graduating summa cum laude. During her undergraduate career, she participated in mock trials and oral arguments, and received an award for the best Honor’s Thesis in Political Science. Stacey received a J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Stacey was active in trial and appellate advocacy programs, including the Northeast Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition, and received the Robert J. Connolly Trial Technique Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She was also an active member of the Women Lawyers of Western New York, and a student attorney for the Affordable Housing and Community Development Clinic.
Stacey is licensed to practice law in California and New York, and admitted into the United States District Courts for the Central and Eastern Districts of California. She is also a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association.
